The Seattle City Council passed a resolution instructing Seattle City Light to take a
hard look at the operation of the Columbia Generating Station
nuclear power plant (WPPSS-2). The resolution was
signed by the mayor on June 3.

					We hope
					City Light will use its
votes and influence on the board of Energy Northwest and as
a Columbia Generating Station Participant to advocate for
the shutdown and decommissioning of the Columbia Generating
					Station.
